Akychame and Lvov finished their bracelets today! There's nothing that makes me so happy as crafting with my kiddos. It's an awesome feeling. I love walking into the living room expecting to see the kids watching a movie, but being surprised by them all cuddled up knitting a scarf, or sewing pillows from old scraps of clothing. Akychame has her own sewing case with her own Altoids mint tin for her pins!!! Just like her mom.
After they finished the bead-weaving, I sewed ribbon to the bottoms, added embellishments and a button closure. I absolutely love making things collaboratively with people. Hey, the girls themselves were a collaboration! But I won't post pictures of that.

The kids worked on these whenever they had a spare moment; in between lessons, after finishing their chores, and before they fell asleep at night. I love them so much, I want to steal them. ; )
